THE TECHNIBOIS SHOW – HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
TECHNIBOIS, the biennial trade show for the wood sector in eastern Canada was created by Gestion T.B. 2000 inc. in 1990, a company managed by Mr. Claude Roy. TECHNIBOIS was and still is the only event of its kind in Canada where every two years visitors can get a real overview of equipment, suppliers and cutting edge technologies for the sawmilling and woodworking sectors.
TECHNIBOIS is the launching pad for many innovative new products and equipment for the sawmilling and woodworking sectors. In fact, TECHNIBOIS is recognized as a major event for the sawmilling and woodworking sectors where manufacturers and suppliers can discuss optimizing solutions and value added production. From the smalest tools for craftsmen to the large sawmill systems, TECHNIBOIS offers the latest technologies available.
In 2008, TECHNIBOIS opens new horizons under the name TECHNIBOIS 2008 +, where in keeping the focus on the maximum utilization of the ressource. TECHNIBOIS will give visitors the opportunity of seeing wood used in conjunction with other materials such as metal, plastics, glass and composites materials.
As always TECHNIBOIS 2008 + will be more than a trade show but an event where technology, business, sales and success join together every two years.
